Why become an official?
Seems thankless and stressful. Sometimes yes but YOU can handle it. It’s really about the contribution to youth & sport, teamwork without the work & bonding and developing strong ties with people like yourself.
In USA Volleyball we pay you while you train and support you every step of the way as part of our “Officials Team & Family”. We even have our own club!
It’s also a well paying part time opportunity for most and a career for many-check out the pay scale on the Officials Education page. And don’t forget about the money you’re not spending during idle time. It’s not hard, especially with the excellent cadre of officials we use to train you.
