Impact
all coaches of juniors must be impact certified IN ADDITION TO SAFE SPORT.
Impact is a valuable addition to any coaching portfolio and Impact certification is good life. Impact classes do not contain the Safe Sport module. Safe Sport and is a separate certification. Impact teaches a dynamic coaching philosophy.
All other non coaching adults associated with Junior programming are required to take the Safe Sport course every season.
The on demand USAV Impact clinic is FREE, lasts 4-6 hours and has a test at the end. It can be found on your membership in the USAV Academy.
CAP certification is currently on hold but there are a number of other resources that you can attend in person to elevate your coaching education. Consult your Junior Rep for information on those.
