Information for Adult Players

Adult players who are planning on forming teams and competing at the USA Volleyball Open Championships need to follow the steps listed below in order to get your individuals registered, and your team organized and listed in USAV’s Webpoint Registration database.

Individual application for membership is necessary for all  players and coaches for adult teams as well as juniors. Background screening is not necessary for adult players or coaches not involved with a junior program in any way. 1. If you are playing under the name of an existing club, i.e. a club such as Albuquerque Rebels Volleyball Club, the existing club’s director will have the ability to create a team name online so you will have a team code and they also will have the ability to create your online roster after the member has applied, paid and been confirmed.

2. If you are playing on an “Independent Team” as we often call it, you will need still need to apply for individual membership in USA Volleyball. Part of the application process is choosing a club. In order for your team (club) to be listed online, the team representative should contact the registar@suncountryvb.org with the team name, and the team representative's address and contact information. The registrar will confirm the online listing of your team (club). The USAV required club code will be assigned when the team/club is listed online and the team code will be generated by the system when  the team representative sets up the team onine using the Club Director's Handbook. http://suncountryvb.org/web/uploads/Handbooks/Club%20Admin%20Manual.pdf

3. Whether you are registering and paying individually or as a group, you will still use the same SURVA Adult Player Registration Fee Submission Form both for submitting your name(s) to the registrar and paying for membership(s). (The Paypal link is at the bottom left of this form.) This action automatically notifies the registrar of the name and the receipt for payment and the registrar will mark your membership paid. 

4. After the above steps have been completed, player's names can be added to a Team Roster by the club representative.
