What does it cost to be a member in Sun Country?

Registration, for all members, is $35 per year.

How do I register?

All persons involved with Juniors should go to the Juniors page to start.  This includes adults working with Juniors as there are background checks completed on all adults.

 

Adults that are not involved with Juniors should go to the Adults page and register through that process.

Officials should register on the Adults page.

What is a Team Bond?

A deposit, equal to a tournament entry fee, from a team or club that pledges adherence to the guidelines of tournament entry and play.  This is refunded at year-end if no conduct violations occur.  Each team is required to pay this deposit, up to a maximum of 5 teams in a club.

Where can I find a Juniors club?

We are comprising a list of clubs throughout the region and will post the names and contacts for those.

Who is required to have background checks?

Any adult associated with a Junior Club or Team.
This would include Club Directors, Club Administrators, All Coaches, and Chaperones.

What does it cost to play in a Junior Tournament?

The current Junior entry fee is $150.00 for SURVA sponsored tournaments.

What is an Area Representative?

An elected Board member that represents one of the four areas in the Region.  Their job is to represent the members in their respective areas and promote the play of volleyball and the growth of membership.

Who is the Registrar?

The Registrar is the conduit of prospective members to USA Volleyball. He provides the means to register and resolves problems applicants have with registration.
